Mayteo is named after my children, Maya and Matteo. When I became a father, I started reading labels and realised how much is put on a baby's skin that doesn't belong there. This brand started with that question. A baby line was therefore never an expansion, but a promise I still had to fulfil. With our third child on the way, it's here: three products used in our own family, from day one.

Yes, a delicate, Ecocert COSMOS-compliant fragrance with notes of almond blossom and vanilla. The wash and shampoo are free from the 26 declarable fragrance allergens.

The strictest independent certification for natural cosmetics. At least 95% natural ingredients and a controlled production process. Not a self-proclaimed label, but an external audit.

Why does it say 98% natural and not 100%?
Honest answer: the wash and shampoo contain 2% mild preservatives (at food-grade level, COSMOS-approved). A water-based product without preservatives becomes a breeding ground for bacteria, and you don't want that on a baby's skin. The lotion, however, is 100% natural origin, as that formula allows it. We choose safety over a prettier number.
