Frequently asked questions

How exactly does this AHA peel work?
The product contains 10% Lactic Acid, an Alpha Hydroxy Acid that dissolves the "glue" between dead skin cells. These cells then detach, revealing younger skin underneath and stimulating cell renewal. The 1% hyaluronic acid ensures the skin remains hydrated during this process. With regular use, the skin becomes smoother, more even, and more radiant.
Is sun protection really necessary after use?
Yes, this is not an optional recommendation. After an AHA treatment, your skin is temporarily more sensitive to UV radiation. Without sun protection, you can burn more easily and actually develop more hyperpigmentation — the opposite of what you want. Use a sunscreen with at least SPF 30 every morning, even on cloudy days.
Can I leave this on overnight?
Yes, this product is specifically designed for nighttime application. During your sleep, the skin naturally regenerates, and the combination with lactic acid enhances this process. Do not rinse before bed. In the morning, use a gentle cleanser and always an SPF.
Can I combine this with other active ingredients like retinol or vitamin C?
Not on the same evening. AHA, retinol, and strong vitamin C each work on the skin in their own way and can cause irritation when used together. Alternate them: for example, AHA on Tuesdays and Saturdays, retinol on Wednesdays and Sundays, vitamin C in the morning. Always give your skin a rest day between active treatments.
Is this suitable for sensitive skin or rosacea?
10% lactic acid is a medium-strength AHA. For slightly sensitive skin, you can carefully build up from once a week. For rosacea, eczema, or an actively damaged skin barrier, we advise against this product — wait until your skin has recovered and then opt for a milder exfoliant. If in doubt, consult your dermatologist first.
