What is a booster and how do I use it?
A booster is a product that you add to your existing routine to enhance a specific effect. This gel works under your moisturizer or can be mixed with it in the palm of your hand. It does not replace a serum or moisturizer but provides an extra layer of antioxidant protection.
Why does this product contain alcohol?
The alcohol functions as a natural preservative and ensures that the gel absorbs quickly without a sticky residue. It is a COSMOS-approved ingredient at this concentration. However, for very dry or reactive skin, this might be too much. In that case, we recommend our Hydrating Serum as an alternative antioxidant-focused step.
Which skin types is this best for?
For mixed or mature skin seeking antioxidant protection without a heavy cream. Specifically suitable for those who suffer from dull skin, a tired appearance, or who want to protect their skin against pollution and environmental stress. For dry mature skin, we would opt for our richer creams instead.
What makes this antioxidant booster different from others?
The combination of four powerful antioxidants in one formula: ginkgo biloba, green tea, grape, and oak. Many competitors use only one antioxidant. Furthermore, all four in this formula are organically grown and certified ECOCERT COSMOS Natural.
Does this product contain fragrance?
Yes, but it is an allergen-free labeled fragrance. The ingredient list does not contain classic EU allergens (Limonene, Linalool, Geraniol, etc.). This makes this product milder for the skin than our other fragranced gels, although for very reactive skin, caution is always advised.
Can I combine this with other serums?
Yes, this is intended as a booster on top of your existing routine. It works well after Vitamin C Serum (enhances antioxidant protection) or after Peptide Serum (combines anti-aging effects). Only avoid combining with other alcohol-based products in the same routine, as that can be too drying.
When will I see results?
A fresh and vital effect is often immediately noticeable after application, the skin feels invigorated. For visible results on skin quality and glow, 2 to 4 weeks of consistent use. Antioxidants work preventively; they constantly protect your skin from damage, and the effect becomes more visible as the protection lasts longer.
How long does a 30 ml tube last?
With twice-daily use (half a pea size), a tube lasts approximately 2 months. With single daily use or mixed with moisturizer, this can extend up to 3 months.
Is this product oil-free?
