Does this serum really contain collagen?
No. The product name "Collagen Boost" refers to its function, not its ingredients. This serum does not contain animal or plant-derived collagen, for a good reason: collagen molecules are too large to be absorbed by the skin. What this serum does do is stimulate the skin to produce its own collagen through a combination of botanical actives (elderberry, watercress) and hyaluronic acid. This is more effective than a product that only leaves collagen on the surface of the skin.
What age is this serum suitable for?
From 30 years old as a preventive anti-aging step, or from 40 years old for visible results in firmness and skin volume. For younger skin (under 30), this serum may be too rich; in that case, choose our Hydrating Serum for light hydration or Vitamin C Serum for antioxidant protection.
What is the difference between this and your Peptide Serum?
Both work on anti-aging, but through different mechanisms. The Peptide Serum contains 2% Hexapeptide-11 and specifically targets the reduction of fine lines and skin firmness. The Collagen Boost Serum works more broadly on hydration, vitality, and supporting natural collagen production. Many customers use Peptide Serum in the evening (targeted repair) and Collagen Boost Serum in the morning (vitality and hydration).
When will I see results?
Hydration and a plumper skin appearance are often noticeable after 1 week. For visible results in firmness and skin texture, expect 4 to 6 weeks of consistent use. The serum works cumulatively; the longer you use it, the more pronounced the results become.
Can this be used during salon treatments?
Yes, it is explicitly suitable for this. The light, fast-absorbing texture makes this serum ideal for use in professional facials, skincare, or as a boost between treatment products. It does not interfere with other treatment products.
Does this product contain allergens or perfume?
Yes, this serum contains perfume (from natural essential oils) and three EU allergens: Linalool, Geraniol, and Citronellol. The scent is an elegant powdery iris with purple violets on a warm musk-wood base. For those with very reactive skin or who prefer no scents, choose our fragrance-free Sensitive Overnight Cream FF.
Does this product contain sunflower oil?
Yes, sunflower seed oil is one of the main ingredients (4th in the INCI). For very oily or acne-prone skin, this might be too nourishing. For mature, dry, and normal skin, this is an advantage, as sunflower oil is rich in essential fatty acids and vitamin E.
Can I combine this with other serums?
Yes. It combines beautifully with Vitamin C Serum (in the morning for antioxidant protection) or Pigment Perfecting Serum (in the evening for addressing pigmentation). Just avoid layering too many heavy textures; the sunflower oil in this serum, in combination with a rich cream, might feel too nourishing on normal skin.
Do the perfumes in this product contain phthalates?
No. The perfume compositions in this product do not contain phthalates. Phthalates are synthetic raw materials, whereas our perfume compositions are made from natural raw materials.
