Do I really need a toner in my routine?
Not everyone needs a toner — it's a supplement, not a requirement. Our Hydrating Toner is particularly useful if your skin feels tight or thirsty after cleansing, if you live in a dry environment (air conditioning, heating), or if you want your serums to absorb better. If you don't have any of these issues, you can easily go straight from cleanser to moisturizer.
Can this toner replace my day cream?
No. This toner hydrates and refreshes, but lacks the occlusive layer of a cream that locks moisture into your skin. Use it as a preparatory step before your serum or moisturizer.
Is this product really fragrance-free? It does have a scent.
Yes, no fragrance has been added. The gentle herbal and floral scent comes naturally from the rose water and plant extracts themselves. This makes the product suitable for those who react to synthetic fragrances or for those with a sensitive nose.
How often per day can I use this?
Safe for daily use, morning and evening after cleansing. On hot days or after exercise, you can also use it in between for a refreshing boost — apply gently or use as a facial mist (pour into a fine-spray bottle).
Is that a natural scent?
Yes – at Mayteo, we don't use synthetic fragrances. All our fragrance compositions are 100% vegan and carefully formulated with natural aromatics, without phosphates or other synthetic preservatives.
