What skin types is this gel best for?
For normal, combination, or oily skin seeking hydration without a heavy cream. Specifically developed for those who experience shine, enlarged pores, or acne-prone tendencies. Dry or mature skin would benefit more from our richer creams (Anti Age Day Cream or Collagen Anti Age Night Cream).
What is the difference between this and a regular cream?
Creams contain oils and emollients that nourish and hydrate simultaneously. This gel contains only water-based hydrators (hyaluronic acid, betaine, aloe) without oils. The result: intense hydration that absorbs quickly without a greasy or sticky feeling. Ideal for those who don't tolerate heavy textures or who quickly develop shine.
Can I use this for acne-prone skin?
Yes, it is explicitly suitable for this. The formula is oil-free, non-comedogenic, and contains Zinc PCA which helps regulate sebum production and calm the skin. A good basic hydration for those suffering from blemishes without drying out the skin.
Does this gel really work without oils?
Yes, completely oil-free. The hydration comes from water-based ingredients such as hyaluronic acid (Sodium Hyaluronate), Betaine, glycerin, and aloe vera. These are humectants that attract water from the air and hold it in the skin, instead of creating a layer of oil.
What is Betaine and why is it included?
Betaine is a natural osmolyte, a molecule that attracts water from its surroundings. It works similarly to hyaluronic acid but through a different mechanism. For customers who don't tolerate hyaluronic acid (rare but possible), Betaine is an excellent alternative hydrator. Furthermore, it helps strengthen the skin barrier.
Can I combine this with other active ingredients?
Yes, this gel is highly combinable. It works well with Vitamin C Serum in the morning, Pigment Perfecting Serum or Retinol Alternative Serum in the evening. Avoid combining it with too many heavy textures, as this negates the benefit of the light, oil-free texture.
Is this suitable under makeup?
Yes, ideal. The gel absorbs quickly and leaves no greasy or sticky residue. Wait 1 minute after application before applying your foundation. It works beautifully as a base for concealer and foundation on combination or oily skin.
How long does a 50 ml tube last?
With twice-daily use (a pea-sized amount), a tube lasts approximately 2 to 3 months.
Does this product contain allergens?
Yes, this gel contains fragrance (from natural essential oils) and four EU allergens: Limonene, Linalool, Geraniol, and Citral. For those with very reactive skin, choose our fragrance-free Sensitive Overnight Cream FF or ask for personalized advice.
Is that a natural scent?
